Jessica got in touch with me to assist her with some more interactive functions on her existing Wix website. After some discussion she made the decision to move her entire blog over to WordPress. The challenges were moving over 65 blog posts which had to be done via copy and paste, and setting up an automatic mailing system for new posts which was built into the Wix offering.
The speed, look & feel and user-friendliness of the website was improved during the migration to WordPress and I used MailChimp coupled with the site’s RSS feed to set up the automatic blog mailers.
I also created a post-based sliding banner on the home page and custom elements in the sidebar.
