Project Description
Having a thorough enjoyment of both food and travel, and reading about these interests, made this an exciting project for me. Ishay Govender-Ypma, an award-winning freelance food and travel journalist, approached me for an update on her existing WordPress blog. I recruited the help of Holly at Ginger and Moon on the design for both Ishay’s main site, and her writer’s portfolio ishaygovender.com.
The new website was built in a sub-directory to minimise any downtime on the existing site, and the files were moved across when they were ready, ensuring there was no loss of blog meta or URL changes.
I used the WP Google Maps Pro plugin from Flippercode on the Travel page to showcase the latest posts on a world map.
